Embark on the enchanting Phulara Ridge Trek, a journey through nature's miracles. Phulara Ridge Trek is located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. This Trek stretches for about 25 km. The adventure bangs on with a scenic drive from Dehradun to Kotgaon, nestled at 6,455 feet. This 200km journey will surely raise your adrenaline . you will unlock natures delicacies like Sikolta and Bhoj Gadi, kotagaon, taluka village adorned with lush greenery. The highlight awaits on Day 4, conquering Phulara Ridge at 12,345 feet, offering breathtaking panoramic views. . After walking through this ridge for 4-5 hours, you see lovely pastureland on one side and a captivating valley along with mountain views on another side this counts for a spellbinding experience. Phulara Ridge is a pleasant yet daring trek for beginners as well as experienced trekkers. You get to treat your eyes with great peaks such as Kedarkantha, Swargrohini, and many more, along with the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayan range.

Descending to Pushtara, the trail meanders through pristine wilderness. The trek concludes with a scenic drive from Kotgaon to Dehradun, where you will hear the sound of natures calmness. we can ensure you that  this 6 days trek in natures lap will surely help you to rejuvenate.

DRIVE FROM DEHRADUN TO KOTGAON (6,455 ft)

The charming drive  through the snowy mountain roads passing by the Yamuna River. In just an hour, you will reach the enchanting Mussoorie. Continuing the journey, valleys and deep forests unfold, with an 18 km stretch of thrilling pine woods after Pulora. Then we will  drive through Mori valley, alongside the Tons River, is a memorable highlight. Passing through Nainbagh, Naugaon, Purola, Jarmola, Mori Naitwar, and finally Kotgaon, the route offers a mesmerising unforgettable journey through nature's beauty. Don't miss the breathtaking sights during this scenic drive where natures tranquilty meets puff of cold air.

Day 1
TREK FROM KOTGAON TO SIKOLTA
  • Trek Distance: 4.85 km
  • Trek Duration: 4-5 hours
  • Altitude Gain: 6,455 ft to 8,925 ft

The trek commences from Kotgaon village, passing through a charming pine forest after crossing a bridge. After an hour's trekking you will  reach the beautiful  of Shirpuri. At Shirpuri,  we will take the left path leading to Hargaon, a relaxed pine forest trail. From Hargaon, we will take the route to Juda Ka Talab through enchanting pine forests filled with the aroma of Himalayan Cedar. After about half an hour walking, we will reach shikolta, it’s a short hike with some stunning view.
 

Day 2
TREK FROM SIKOLTA TO BHOJ GADI
  • Trek Distance: 4.45 km
  • Trek Duration: 4-5 hours
  • Altitude Gain: 8,925 ft to 11,170 ft

Now as we are in the middle of our adventurous journey , here we are going to Witness a stunning ledge to your right, soaked in sunlight cutting across the canopy. Snow-capped peaks emerge on the left, leading to a small broken bridge over a flowing stream. Ascend for 40 minutes, surrounded by Yellow Marsh Marigold and purple lilies. Reach the Gecko rock, resembling a lizard's head, a meadow with broken Gujjar huts. Ascend through a dense forest to Karsu Thatch, a vast clearing  view of Kedarkantha peak on the right. Gradually you have to hike for 40 minutes, entering lush green meadows before reaching Dhunda Top, the highest point. The campsite boasts a flat meadow with a flowing stream.

Day 3
TREK FROM BHOJ GADI TO PUSHTARA VIA PHULARA RIDGE
  • Trek Distance: 8.4 km
  • Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
  • Altitude Gain and Loss: 11,170 ft to 9,860 ft via 12,345 ft

The campsite offers a glimpse of the ridge's top, you will  start an enchanting day with a 45-minutes of hiking, through the Himalayan Mountains. Reaching the ridge, the 270-degree panoramic view of snow-peaked mountains unwraps, creating a mesmerizing trek alongside the snow-capped giants. After an hour of hiking , you will welcomed to breathtaking views of Hanuman Top, Sarutal Top, DKD, Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, Swargarohini, Hata Peak (HKD), Ranglana, Devkyara valley, Lekha Top, Vijay Top, and Kedarkantha. Now here you will hike to witness the yet another set of harvested fields and massive Pushtara meadows, an ideal campsite. Further ahead, explore Taloti, a medium-sized lake formed by melting glaciers, and enjoy the serene Pushtara with a small graveyard, offering a perfect setting for evening stories.

Day 4
TREK FROM PUSHTARA TO TALUKA. DRIVE TO KOTGAON
  • Trek Distance: 8.1 km
  • Trek Duration: 6-7 hours
  • Drive Duration: 1.5-2 hours
  • Altitude Loss: 9,860 ft to 6,916 ft

Embark on a complete descent to Taluka village, starting with a 30-minute descent through meadows, passing broken Gujjar huts. Join the trail from Taloti valley on the right and continue descending, entering a forest with wide trails. As you descend for another 30 minutes, the forest thickens, adorned with beautiful yellow flowers on the forest floor. You can now explore through fallen trees, observing langurs in the treetops.
In the last stretch, a small village to the right assures you're on the right track. Then we will hike about  1 hour and 30 minutes in lowland, and as you hear bells, you approach civilization with grazing cows, goats, and signs of logging. Follow the trail to Tumrikot village, marked by a water tank and wooden huts. After a 30-minute walk, you reach the end of your trek in the village of Taluka, where you'll find a couple of shops and clear markings for the Har Ki Dun trek.

What happens if I cancel the trek?

  1. Trek Cancellation by TrekVento:

    • If a trek is canceled due to natural disasters or unforeseeable circumstances, you'll receive a full trek voucher valid for one year.
  2. Your Cancellation:

    • Canceling 30 or more days before the trek: Full refund.
    • Canceling between 30 and 15 days before the trek: 60% refund.
    • Canceling less than 15 days before the trek: No refund.
    • Refunds are subject to a 4% deduction as cancellation charges.
    • Trek insurance refunds are not provided.
  3. Responsibility:

    • Discoveryhike is not liable for any damage or injury to your belongings during the trek.
    • The trek fee covers all trek expenses from start to finish.
