Overview

An astoundingly beautiful 24 km trail, makes Dayara Bugyal a perfect trek  situated in Garhwal Himalayas of the Uttarkashi distric in Uttarakhand. Starting from Raithal, the trail ascends to Dayara Bugyal, a breathtaking high-altitude meadow at an elevation of around 7,054 ft. This bugyals( (meadows), spread over 28 sq kms surround by giant mountains. This alpine meadow is dominated by grasses, wildflowers, and low-growing shrubs, typical of the alpine environments. These huge meadows transform into a lush green carpet during the summer months. The panoramic views of the vast open meadows create a surreal landscape for a trek. This trek offers a  tranquil atmosphere. These peaceful surroundings, away from the hustle and bustle of city life, will provide you with a true opportunity to unwind and connect yourselves with nature.

"It's my first trek in the snow in Uttarakhand. Dayara Bugyal in winter itself is an excellent experience for every new trekkers who has no such experience in trekking. Experiencing snowfall while walking can be tough initially but the awesome beauty of nature will make oneself so amazed that no hardship will be felt. Our guides are experienced enough as well as helpful.  They will never give up and always be with you throughout your journey. They will always boost up your confidence through conversation so that you won't feel the hardship of walking. After reaching the campsite you will be greeted by hot masala tea that will make you warm instantly.  The freshly cooked food is so yummy that you will feel like home.     • If a trek is canceled due to natural disasters or unforeseeable circumstances, you'll receive a full trek voucher valid for one year.
  2. Your Cancellation:

    • Canceling 30 or more days before the trek: Full refund.
    • Canceling between 30 and 15 days before the trek: 60% refund.
    • Canceling less than 15 days before the trek: No refund.
    • Refunds are subject to a 4% deduction as cancellation charges.
    • Trek insurance refunds are not provided.
  3. Responsibility:

    • Discoveryhike is not liable for any damage or injury to your belongings during the trek.
    • The trek fee covers all trek expenses from start to finish.
