Drive from Haridwar - Barkot
  • Travel: Approximately 215 km | 7-8 hours
  • Drive from Haridwar to Barkot, passing through picturesque landscapes and small towns.

Embark on a scenic drive from Haridwar to Barkot, traversing the lush greenery of the Shivalik Range. The journey offers glimpses of the Ganges River, charming villages, and the distant mountainous backdrop.

Day 1
Barkot to Yamunotri and back to Jankichatti
  • Travel: Barkot to Jankichatti (approximately 45 km | 2 hours)
  • Trek: Jankichatti to Yamunotri (6 km | 3 hours one way)

Drive through picturesque landscapes from Barkot to Jankichatti, passing quaint hamlets. The trek to Yamunotri takes you along the gushing Yamuna River, with panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and alpine meadows.

Day 2
Jankichatti to Uttarkashi
  • Travel: Approximately 155 km | 6-7 hours
  • Drive from Jankichatti to Uttarkashi, enjoying views of the Bhagirathi River and surrounding hills.

The drive to Uttarkashi unveils stunning vistas of the Bhagirathi River. The town is nestled amid hills, providing a tranquil setting to relax and enjoy the natural beauty.

Day 3
Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 kms each side)

Drive 200 km
Early morning after breakfast, drive to Gangotri. On the way visit Gangnani Hot Spring. Take a holy dip in Kund. Later drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil valley. On arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges which is also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja and Darshan, after that relax for some time in the lovely surroundings. Later return drive to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)

Day 4
Uttarkashi - Guptkashi

Drive 220 km
Morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini River comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi, visit Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptakashi. Check into the hotel arrival in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)

 

Day 5
Guptkashi - Kedarnath

Drive 30 km  Altitude : 11,102 ft
Morning after breakfast, today we will go to Kedarnath. To reach Kedarnath you will have two options. One if by trekking and other is by Air via Helicopter (at your own cost). Overnight stay at Guptkashi. (Meals: Breakfast and Dinner)

Important Information: 


By Helicopter:

Morning our driver will transfer you to your Helipad location (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi etc) as per helicopter ticket time. Kindly inform the driver timings of helicopter mentioned on the ticket previous day. Different aviation has different location for their helicopter service. Our driver will provide you both pick and drop to hotel to Helipad. At arrival in Kedarnath reach Kedarnath Temple. Visit Kedarnath Temple. After darshan return to the helipad. Take return flight. Our driver will pick up you from helipad and take you to your hotel.

 

By Trek:

To reach Kedarnath by trekking route first you have to reach Gaurikund. We will drive to Sonprayag early in the morning after breakfast. Our car will drop to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag 5 kms drive to Gaurikund local jeep is available. This sharing basis jeeps guests can book directly at own cost. Gaurikund to Kedarnath is further 14 Kms trek. Due to long trek guests needs to start very early in the morning. Get packed breakfast from hotel to start early. Horse / Pony / Palakhi is also available for trekking at Gaurikund. Guests can book that at own cost. Visit Kedarnath Temple. Later trek down to Gaurikund. Take jeep to Sonprayag at own cost. Our driver will pick up you from Sonprayag and take you to your hotel. There is a big parking issue so driver will park the vehicle at  other place if his contact no. is not working then you have to arrange other taxi or wait for your driver.

Day 6
Kedarnath to Phata
  • Trek: Kedarnath to Gaurikund (approximately 16 km | 6-7 hours)
  • Travel: Gaurikund to Phata (approximately 40 km | 1.5 hours)
  • Descend from Kedarnath and drive to Phata.

Descend from Kedarnath with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The drive to Phata continues through picturesque landscapes with the majestic mountains as constant companions.

Day 7
Phata to Govindghat
  • Travel: Approximately 25 km | 1-2 hour
  • Drive from Phata to Govindghat, enjoying scenic views of the Alaknanda River.

Enjoy a short drive to Govindghat, relishing views of the Alaknanda River and surrounding mountains. The tranquil atmosphere adds to the charm of the journey.

Day 8
Drive from Govindghat to Badrinath
  • Travel: Approximately 20 km | 1-1.5 hour
  • Drive from Govindghat to Badrinath, surrounded by snow-capped peaks.

The drive to Badrinath offers glimpses of the Alaknanda Valley, surrounded by towering peaks. The sacred town of Badrinath is nestled against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains.

Day 9
Badrinath to Haridwar

Travel: Approximately 320 km | 10-11 hours

As you bid farewell to Badrinath, the journey back to Haridwar takes you through diverse landscapes, from high-altitude regions to the lush greenery of lower altitudes, concluding the spiritual and scenic expedition.

Footwear:

Backpack:

  • Main backpack (50 liters), daypack (20-30 liters), and a duffel bag.

What happens if I cancel the trek?

  1. Trek Cancellation by TrekVento:

    • If a trek is canceled due to natural disasters or unforeseeable circumstances, you'll receive a full trek voucher valid for one year.
  2. Your Cancellation:

    • Canceling 30 or more days before the trek: Full refund.
    • Canceling between 30 and 15 days before the trek: 60% refund.
    • Canceling less than 15 days before the trek: No refund.
    • Refunds are subject to a 4% deduction as cancellation charges.
    • Trek insurance refunds are not provided.
  3. Responsibility:

    • TrekVento is not liable for any damage or injury to your belongings during the trek.
    • The trek fee covers all trek expenses from start to finish.
